Flatlander Athletics’ young athlete strength and conditioning program that is on-going, start anytime!
Today’s athletic programs and teams are highly competitive environments requiring extraordinary fitness levels and exceptional athletic ability. Flatlander’s primary focus is to teach proper mechanics, form, and technique. Our strength and conditioning program develops amazingly strong, powerful, explosive, agile and conditioned athletes while ensuring a safe learning curve. The Young Athlete classes will give athletes an extra fitness edge. Our Strength and Conditioning program will make a difference on the field or court, in practice and more importantly, in the game!
Ages 10+ Accelerated Performance – offered Monday and Thursday at 5:30pm (this is a new time starting Monday, Feb 20)
Athletic fundamentals begin to be developed and directed towards athletic skill application in our Accelerated Performance program. This program focuses on progressing and maintaining athletic movement while refining and ingraining fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power. The inclusion of formal Strength and Power training during the sessions provides benefits in two ways. First, proper movement techniques with increased force production lead to maximized potential. Secondly, as athletes naturally increase in height, weight, strength and aggressiveness, the need for improved joint integrity is vital for reducing the chance of injury.

TEAM or group training
If you have a group of athletes that would like to workout at a specific time together, please contact us for available times and days. Each group’s program duration may vary. Team Performance creates a dynamic bonding experience. Teammates will learn to support each other while focusing on their own skill development. Team training is a great way to have teammates bound with each other in the off-season while getting them physically fit for the first season game/match. Show up 10 minutes prior to first class to fill out paperwork (we do need parent of guardian signatures for the waiver for athletes under the age of 18). Waiver may also be printed and signed by guardian here.
